The Regeneration Concert for Possibility

On Sunday March 18th, Regeneration organized their “Regeneration Concert for Possibility“. The concert was held at the Temple Emanuel and it was cosponsored by All Saints Church, Islamic Center of Southern CA, Temple Emanuel and Muslim Public Affairs Council.

The event was billed as “Christians, Jews and Muslims sitting together for one extraordinary evening supporting the education of all children in the Middle East“. The proceeds from The reGeneration Concert for Possibility were to benefit reGeneration’s projects in the Middle East.

The special guest presenter was Ed O’Neill from the Golden Globe and Emmy Award Winning TV series, Modern Family. As is Regeneration’s mission, the concert aimed to make grassroots, interfaith and multicultural education that fosters cooperation between Jews and Arabs in Israel possible.

The list of world-renowned artists who performed at the concert included Riad Abdel-Gawad, Ali Amr, Ahmed El Asman, Rabbi Hagai Batzri, Cantor Rita Glassman, Chazan Danny Maseng, Hillel Tigay and Judeo and Yuval Ron Ensemble.

Academy Award Winner Yuval Ron, who recently performed to a sell-out audience at the Broad Stage was the Artistic Director of the event as well as the lead artist.
